SciTrends is a free service created by Ion Channel Media Group in order to allow visualization of trends in the life sciences. Our software uses a subset of the medline index, representing over 3,000,000 publications in order to show a snapshot of biomedical research from the years 1976 to 2008. Data can be normalized to the total number of publications each year.

These plots can be used to guide research projects, asset allocation, or as a great introduction to a presentation.
